Join our inspiring volunteer construction project in Uganda, Africa!
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Uganda's majestic gorillas and powerful waterfalls, this project offers unique personal and professional growth opportunities. You'll contribute to global betterment while gaining valuable international experience and cultural exposure, all while forging lifelong friendships. To be eligible, applicants must be 18+ at the project start.
Our mission involves designing and constructing a fish farm office in Uganda over an 8-week period, encompassing various aspects:
1. Infrastructure: Building a fish office, storage facilities, a silo, kitchen, bio-digester toilet, and installing a water pump.
2. Fishery Office: Creating an office space, equipment storage, feed store, visitor area, and training space.
3. Location: The site is conveniently situated 100-200m from the village road and 1.5km from the tarmac road.
4. Farming Area: Implementing aquaponics and a hatchery for sustainable fish farming.
Choose from flexible project durations, ranging from 2.5 to 8 weeks, available between July and September 2024. Join an international student group and make your summer unforgettable. Secure your spot by making a full payment within two weeks of acceptance, typically costing $2200 for a 2-week project.
